Watching You

The reason that I have chosen this video is because of the way that a young person is always watching a person that is always around them. The person that I was always watching when I was younger was my dad just like in this video. I used to always want to do everything that he was doing. I still do it today. When I am with my dad we do all sorts of things. We go to baseball, football, and other sporting events. We also go fishing and hunting. I have always wanted to be like my dad because of how he is respected by all of the people that he is around. I would like to just have some of things that he has accomplished in his life. My dad is also a very carrying person he is able to make people feel good or better even when they are down in blues. It would be nice if I could do something like that for people that I am around the way he does it. He makes it look so easy to do. He makes it look like he is not even trying. That is why I have been watching my dad so I would be able to pick up on some of the traits that he shows in his life.

That 70's Show

The show that I have picked to write about is That 70’s Show. The reason that I have picked this show was because it reminds me of the things that me and my friends would do while we were hanging out in the basements of our houses of just hanging out with each other. I can see the group of friends that I hung out within high school in the show. In the friends that I would hang out with we had a person that was not all there if you know what I mean. Then there was always that one friend that would bring around his girlfriend that no one would be able to stand because of how annoying she is. That happens in the show when Jackie is dating Kelso. Then Jackie becomes one of the group because of how much she was around them all the time.
The dad in the show Red Forman reminds me of my dad. The reason for this is because of the way that he is always on his son Eric by making fun of him and making him do work around the house. The mom in the show also reminds me of my mom because of the way that she is always looking out for the best of the family and helping out with everyone’s problems.

The Mighty Ducks

The recent movie that I have watched was The Mighty Ducks. It is a story about a group of young kids that live in the Minneapolis area of Minnesota. They start out as a group of terrible hockey players and then this coach comes along who is Gordon Bombay in the movie. He is a lawyer that has gotten into some trouble and has to coach this hockey team as community service. Once Bombay is able to get the trust of the players they start to win some games. The team ended up making the playoffs by one spot because of the way that they started out the season and they ended up making it all the way to the championship game where they won.

I think the biggest reason that I love this movie is because it was filmed around the place where I grew up. Being from Minnesota I know what playing hockey means as a kid growing up. Another thing that this movie also makes me like is the amount of friend that you are able to make because of the team that you are on. The main reason is because you usually go to school with most of them as well. The biggest thing that I liked about the movie was that I was able to relate to my self in the movie. With all of the things that they kids in the movie did were some of the same things I did with my friends.
